Farms and  Farmer's Markets
We did it! We joined a
CSA (Community
Supported Agriculture)-
we start picking up our
farm produce at
Hearty
Roots in Red Hook in
June and we can't wait to
prepare it for our
breakfast table!
A wonderful way to see the valley, farms and their markets, offer tastes
and treats that are sure to impress. Each Sunday, from May to
November, Rhinebeck hosts a plentiful
farmer's market from 10am-2pm.
Sample honey and cheeses, shop for local meats and eggs, and buy
fresh cider doughnuts to snack on while you walk.

Grieg Farm offers a U-pick selection throughout the growing season.
And orchards, Hardeman Farms,
Fraleigh's Rose Hill Farm, and Mead
Orchards showcase fruits and vegetables from May to October.

Wonderful farm stands provide the freshest flavors from the valley.
Migliorelli Farm Stand is located on the eastern side of the Kingston-
Rhinecliff bridge and
Montgomery Place Orchards, located at the
intersection of Rt 9G and Rt 199, both provide a variety of fruits and
vegetables as well as other locally made products like pies, breads,
granola, and honeys.

You might also take advantage of the local specialty food stores that
will spoil you with local flavors and outstanding taste.
Wild Hive Farm
serves products made entirely from 100% local organic flour. The cafe
serves breakfast and lunch exclusively with local eggs, dairy, meats
and grains. In addition, the quaint store provides the areas honeys,
james, syrups, cheese, butters, beans and homemade meals.

In 1983, John Harney bought his own tea company and aimed to sell
great tea at a price that would make it an everyday luxury. Visit
Harney
and Sons’ Fine Teas in Millerton.

And finally, we would like to showcase
Gray Horse Farm. They provide
our breakfast table with USDA Certified Organic eggs and breakfast
meats. Our weekly delivery ensures quality products that are good for
you and taste exceptionally fresh.
