Antiques and Shopping
Montgomery Row, a collection
of boutiques and restaurants in
Rhinebeck Village, provides
wonderful shopping and
entertainment for locals and
tourists.
Up and down the Hudson Valley, you can find multi-vendor antique
barns, small, intimate gallery shops, and acres of antique fairs. In
addition to the antique shopping, you can shop for books, clothing,
interiors, linens, and jewelry.

First, a few antique stores to bring attention to:
  The
Antique Market, located behind the Beekman Arms Hotel,
presents multiple vendors in a large space. Within walking distance of
our inn, it is a great place to begin your antique hunt! Across the street,
you'll find,
Asher House. This is a beautiful space with a wonderful
gallery setting, outdoor garden, and outdoor showroom. Rhinebeck
Village, also hosts 3
Antique Fairs at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds
through the summer. Check the website for specific dates and hours.

Hudson, Red Hook, Millbrook, and Hyde Park are surrounding towns
that also provide a nice venue for antique stores. They are all within 30
minutes of Rhinebeck and make for perfect morning activities or
afternoon getaways.

Secondly, in addition to the antiquing opportunities, Rhinebeck Village
provides over 40 shops and boutiques.
Paper Trail is an amazing gift
store with fine papers, custom invitations, exquisite gifts and wonderful
jewelry.
Hammertown, offers a fine array of interiors. Blue Cashew
specializes in kitchenware, cookbooks, and they showcase a beautiful
knife and cutlery bar. The
Rhinebeck Department Store specializes in
clothing and tradition- while
Winter Sun/Summer Moon celebrates over
20 years in the village, offering clothing and gifts and special products
for the home and body. And new to the Village is
Grand Cru Beer and
Cheese Shop - a quaint new storefront offering a selection of local and
hard to find beers and cheeses-- take a growler home with you!

A walk through the village is a perfect way to spend an afternoon!
